dustin it's a Traxxas bumber, I think from a Maxx, got it of ebay some time ago. Get the plastic top for the magnum chassis, without it the whole car flexes a lot.

FanFactor VS Magnum

Having lots of parts for my FanFactor I decided to put together a Magnum and here are the results.

Fanfactor is stock but the pipe, rear shocks, 125cc fuel tank, filter and battery box.

Have you tried adjusting the EPA (end point adjustment) on the radio for the brake. It will allow you to force the throttle arm to move further when braking.

Dustin, i used an ofna buggy receiver box and fitted the batteries in there. With some squizing you can fit the receiver in there if its not to big. or simple fit a ballon over it and zip tie it...

Shocks should be no more than 95 mm (3.75") long. That is why a lot of us have installed buggy front shocks.

PJ, suprisingly I only broke 2 driveshaft s so far and none of them by running the car. I broke one by overtightening the wheel!!! and another by a hi speed crash right at the corner of a brick wall...
