Long time between replies.... Lol
Sounds like there is a problem with the front steering, is not normal for it to wander like that.
id recommend diagnosing what the problem is, that way u don't wast money on parts.
Lol, well at least u have the balls to admit it :)
a 45t motor is well within the limit of a AE2 ESC, they can handle anything over 19t. And 45t is not even close.
generally u will find the higher the turn count the lower the current draw, and been...
Ok, sounds like there is a problem.
but.... U need to find out what device is misbehaving.
My first thought is to try another controller.
do u have a mate with a similar controller...
One other thing..... Traxxas connectors only need a basic 15w soldering iron...
My vote is the Traxxas connectors. I run them on everything... Not just rc cars lol. I'm using them on my real car. I fitted a 10" thermo fan and I've used the Traxxas connectors to have a quick...
Generally u don't have to worry...out of 6 receivers I have not needed to to it...
easy way to check if u need to.... Power up the car, hold it off the ground and turn off the controller... If...
Well I think axial has a lower cost version... I've seen a few ax10's with truck bodies
It's awesome that another manufacture has realised the potential crawler/trail truck market.
The current most popular are the SCX10 and the Trail finder...so with one more... Hopefully other...

I've had great success over the years using very similar curved sissisors to the ones linked and a old pair of hair dressing scissors.
I use the straight scissors for the big long straight sections...
That looks really cool. To be honest I wouldn't drive it.
depending on the size of the body, the body it self could be worth a bit.... Especially to the crawler and clodbuster guys
I've just finished building a 1/8 buggy within that budget... It's tough tho
because of the losi 8ight 3.0 there are heaps on 8ight 2.0 going second hand.
i picked up a nitro rolling chassis...
Oops, just realised... Are up running a gt3 c or b controller?
Ahh my bad I thougt u got a winch controller that works from the controller. I didn't realise it was one that comes with it's own remote
by the looks it's designed to run of a separate battery, so u...
For the battery u don't need to be fussy, the current draw from a crawler is really nothing compared to other off-roaders. I'm yet to physically measure it but I don't see it going over 50a in a bind...
One potential problem....
Running the winch of the controller, in stock form the 3ch on the fs gt3 radios because the 3ch is only a 2 positions. Meaning u won't be able to stop it.
Yep I'm running the one with the grill guard,
those stubby and competition ones look good. There...
Something like this.... ?
They look alright.... But after some thought... If ur planing to really use the winch u might have to get the steel ones for durability issues
i think there is a tough armour bumper for the g6, it's...
I don't think power has anything to do with it.... The SCT already wheelies down the straight if ur not careful...
And when u think about it, jumping a SCT is like trying to throw a balloon...
