RE: Seagull Decathlon

RE: OS 120fs Four Stroke

I have an OS 120 & a YS 1.10. I HAD a Saito 125

The OS 120 is 400+ flights old, runs like a Rolex watch, turns an APC 15 - 8 @ 9300 and is 100% original.

The YS 1.10 is 100 flights old,...

RE: YS 63-S vs YS 63 (older version)

I flew a Sig Ultimate FF / YS .63FZ for 10 years with over 500 flights, 11,000 on a good day with a 13-6 APC. I never, I repeat never had any problems with the engine because it was on a profile. I...

RE: Quieting a two stroke

A 10-6 is a very small prop for a .46. Your right about an 11-6 maybe even an 11-7. I ran a 10-6 on the old OS .40 FSR's back in the 80's and they turned up pretty high.

RE: Venus II engine mnt

I used a Dubro 686 mount on my inverted OS 120FS. 300+ flights and everything is still going strong. I have 2 digitals and 4 coreless servos and can manage 8 flights on a 4.8 / 1100 mah battery.
