I got the Tx/Rx used, so I'm not sure if its been in a crash. It comes very close to the motor, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's interfering with it. I have to wait for some parts to come in...

I have the FM version of the pro. It has the removable module, so I could switch to 2.4 if i can find one. I don't really have any other FM Rx's to use at the moment, so I'm going to have to buy...

Could also use the ol' "if you can't hold your finger on the motor for more than 3 seconds, then its too hot of a setup".....Not saying it's not something worth having though, but I'd rather not...

Alright, stopped being lazy, did some math (i.e. I found the sticky about gearing) and found that I should run about 30mph with my motor and the gearing the Dark Impact has.....now the only problem...

It's hard to tell from the pics, but could the batt cover be moved up maybe 1/2 an inch without interfering with the drive shaft or the servo pushrod?
