DLE-85 Gas Engine
I purchase this engine (used) from a fellow RCU member several months ago. It was meant to go on a giant 120"ws Cessna. The engine ran great but the plane could not take the stress and needed much re-enforcements. It was the plane's first run up but it did not fly. I do not have the time or space to keep the large plane, so I took it all apart.
The engine started right up. The previous owner said that he ran about a gallon through it. (I guess almost everyone says that!) I only got to run two 14 oz tanks through it, but I think it is broken in or nearly broken in. Lots of power with a 26x8 prop. No missing parts, no broken parts, all the mounting hardware still in package and included is a ignition kill switch.
The previous owner installed a linkage plate on the throttle (Photo #2) to connect the throttle arm. It works fine so I left it on.
Asking $300 for engine / $25 for shipping via USPS / Total payment $325 to PAYPAL

Hi - Glad that you found another engine because of my not responding. This new RCU website is not better than the old format. In the old format, at least if someone wanted to place a bid, there was a BID block and an email would go directly to the seller and he/she would know right away if there was an offer. I did not know that I had to constantly check the threads and replies to look for an offer.
Then since I haven't received any offers through my emails, I forgot all about the engine. Once again, glad you moved on and found another DLE 85.
I guess I am still old school and like the old RCU format much better!
