Looks great. Like the weathering. Is this the Asiatam kit?

Am I converting that correct? The Famo is $800.00?

Okay... just wanted to make sure I was getting the right answer. I hate these on-line translations, especially language! UGH!
Trust me, the price is worth it. After having as many Tamiya kits built and to build I know it's worth it and I don't even have one in my hands... yet.

he jeff don't forget it is NOT tamiya ... the asiatam famo needs workmanship to get it right ... one of our members bought one , it's a dissaster he says but although a good modeller can get it on tracks
i gonna buy one next year in dortmund , than i can control the kit and on fairs you get 10 to 15% off the retailprices

Oh! I know... nothing is like Tamiya. They are legendary for their fit, instructions and quality.
Those that do not own one (or more) does not know.

Exactly. Now I've had one of those in my hands and could have bought it but at the time I wasn't wanting a long term project and searching for compatible RC parts to make it work.
Wish I had it now.

I have one of these Famo kits and an Elmod to go with it. Is there a construction article on any of the forums that describe the points that need extra care
in building?

as i heard from our member its the fitting and bolts of minor quality, replace the bolt by steel or inox ones would give lesser problems by the montage ... also a lot of tapped holes needs redrilling ... out of place a few mm to a cm
ive also read on one of the forums one guy broke the trangle between the frontwheels but that can be just misuse too ... with the real famo you also have to treat it like a halftrack its no bulldozer
as i see foto's of the mechanique parts seems fine to me , even by tamiya people complain when they build it up the wrong way ... so i would not count too much to the negative ones
but the quality control isn't in china at the highest performance level like in our country's and take into account teenagers are building the famo and opel blitz up ... they are very young and underpayed and not very skilled too
