Default Mid atlantic dawn patrol 2014

OK its that time of year to start your plans for the MID ATLANTIC DAWN PATROL (MAD Patrol)
This year is going to be the best. We will have full size WWI aircraft flying each day and so much more
$35.00 is your landing fee for 5 days of WWI aviation. You will have full access to all hangers and museum, dinner for two, many prizes and drawings. We have over 20 sponsors now and its looking like over 100 pilots this year. Our run way is a cross run way 5002 by 3200. We fly on the corner so it wont matter where the wind is coming from. All vendors setup and sell for free. Camping on site but no hook ups. We have plenty of room. We are only 15 minutes from the Virginia Beach Board walk and attractions. Bonfires each night. Overnight storage of your airplanes will be in the WWI hanger with security and outlets for charging. This is an R/C event with A Full size airshow. please call me or email me with questions.
This event is covered by the AMA and the IMAA.

Now for some Allied reproductions flying Sat-Sun. Notice the long grass runways to far left. Cross runway is behind the Green WW-I hangers just above the rudder in pic.

If it involves Wheels, Women or Wings. . . Its Trouble!

Sometimes the Wings are "Double Trouble II"

The Military Avitaion Museum also has a large collection of WW-II restored/flying airplanes. Like these Beauties:
Check the website for pics etc. http://www.militaryaviationmuseum.org Museum Open 09:00am - 5:00pm daily.

Just acquired new 1/4 DR1 to fly at MAD Patrol in October this year. Going to be great event with actual replicas this year. Actually have Original Jenny. Still plenty of time to register for this terrific event which by the way extremely close to the beach. Come register with TRC and have fun with new and old rc friends.
