Greater Southwest Jet Rally-Sept 10-12 WACO TX
This is the 33rd year of the Greater Southwest Jet Rally. 70 X 800ft runway with plenty of covered pit area. The field will be open all week prior to the event. As usual 5 from Arizona will be there the Sat. before the event.
There are about 13 30amp plugs for motorhomes, no other utilities. There is city water available at field but you will have to pull your MH over to it or have a long, long hose. Don't quote me on this but I think there is a $15 per night charge for electric. If I find out the fee is different I'll post it.
For those needing hotels call Dawn Ellzey at Midway Travel-972-264-4288. Plenty hotels and restaurants within 5 miles of the field. I would suggest making hotel reservations asap as Baylor has a home game the same weekend.

Breakfast will be served at the field Friday and Saturday mornings at the field by the usual suspects.

Eggs
Sausage
Pancakes
And if Buck is up for it, Starbucks coffee.
And as in the past, we DO NOT deliver breakfast to your motorhome. You hear that Debbie, yes, you can come to breakfast in your pj's

For those that know Doc and Dianna Jones, they are now permanent residents of Texas. They just closed on their new digs yesterday in China Spring TX about 12 miles from the Waco flying site. He doesn't have any excuse now for not attending the GSW jet rally.
