Default T-2 Buckeye

Anyone have experience with these? I'm thinking of giving the new Paritech a try, so wondering what they fly like. Is it comparable to an L-39 or BAE Hawk? Any bad habits?
Thanks, Jay

Jay,

Scott Harris (S HARRIS on RCU) has one that is the C AirRace kit, I believe. I don't know if that's the same as the Paritech one, but they look to be similar size.

Scott's T-2 is really slick and has quite a presence in the air. At the same time, its a complex model. The main gear is LONG, and I think he had to do a bit of re-engineering to get that, as well as some other things on the aircraft, working reliably.

You should send Scott and PM and see what he has to say about his T-2...

Bob

They fly like a rock when one engine dies.

This is not sounding good. The Paritech is about 10" longer than the AirC-race, but probably flies similarly. I'm thinking of replacing my CARF/SG L-39 (which I love) with one, but I don't like problemed aircraft. Thanks for the replies, Jay

The Paritech airframe is significantly bigger and seems truer to scale than the Air-C-race.

Once again, Scott is the expert here.
He had his T2 at Top Gon this year and did beautiful flight demonstrations with it.
I know that he has been looking for a new one and he has most certainly studied the new Paritech offer already.
