There is a gas/glow column somewhere for "engine conversions" that mixes 1 part to parts glow fuel to gas. It may work on the big Tigers? It would save some weight and trouble, or cost. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/engi...-glow-how.html It is for weedwacker type motors, but might be worth a try with just a bit of experimenting with plugs and carb fiddling.

Try it on the ST 3250,may run fine.Best to install a Walbro carb if you want to run gas.Also heavy oil mix because of the bushing type rod bearing.

How did you go running the G5 plug? I'm interested as I've recently been running my Super Tigre s2500 on a 15:1 gas mix using stock carb and G5 gas plug. So far it's been running pretty well...
