Default Homegrown Camouflage for 1:16

I got it into my head last weekend to make some custom camouflage netting for our 1:16 armor and wanted to show off. I haven't decided just yet whether or not to "enhance" any of them with foliage or other materials. I kind of thought they looked pretty good as they are.

Heavy "canvas" over a Tiger I recently acquired to work on the Open Panzer project.

The fun weekend endeavor resulted in quite a few different patterns....

I've always gone the buildarama route for netting. Looks like you had some fun messing with yours, nice work.

Thanks! I've been perusing Hyperwar and other websites looking for photographic examples used during WW2. I've found several pictures that show allied camouflage netting that greatly resembles that on the build-a-rama site. Most of the German camo nets I've seen photos of appear to rely mostly on vegetation that might be readily available. Anyway, if anyone has a resource that is dedicated to the subject I would love to research it more. Until then, on to mass producing sandbags....

I forgot to mention that we used a Tie Dye kit and gauze to do all of these. The newer 12-ply didn't do a great job for netting but inspiration quickly struck and I dyed several swatches an olive drab to use as canvas material for sand bags and tents.

.
How far off scale would the 1/18 stuff be for 1/16 tanks? I would like to get a small net and wrap around a main gun barrel.
