i am so sick and tired of that damn top gun theme song. Why can't you people find something that is not played out and actually sounds good. Or here is an idea, don't play anything at all and let us actually here the jet. Now that's thinking outta the box.

The Top Gun theme was a joke, that's why it got scratched, but it worked and you obviously fell for it.
Another great idea make your own videos then you can call the shots...

Great video as usual Patrick! One little question. When you showed the pilot he had some device mounted directly above his transmitter. Just out of curiosity what is it? Telemetry?
Thanks for posting! (FYI I liked the top gun shout out. It just goes with the Tomcat)

Yes, Jim uses Jeti telemetry that is the Profi box, he has mounted to his Tx.

I used to have the separate telemetry box but spectrum has telemetry in the radio now and makes it a lot more simple for me

Jim did actually use the Fly Eagle Jet F-14 for a while, and made several mods to that kit, including the design of his custom made gear for the swing wing. The one in this video is all SkyMaster.

If you look on Jims FB page you can see his build pics of this Skymaster F-14, he flew the old few till it literally fell apart and then some
