Default T-One Models, T-3 to Debut at Florida Jets!!

Pacific RC Jets will have the ALL New T-3 at Florida Jets Making its Debut!! We would like to thank Franco Di Mauro, from House of Power Hobbies for taking the time to assemble our T-3 and he will be putting it through its paces and thoroughly testing it out. If you are planning on attending FL Jets, go check it out in person. If you can not make FL Jets, we should have video shortly to post. The T-3 is the 3 Meter version of the very successful T-1. Aside from the outstanding quality from T-One Models, the T-3 will include Air Retracts, Pipe, Split Fuel & Smoke tank and hardware.

T-3 Specs:

Airframe 118" Long
Wing Span 103" Long
Airframe only weight, 27LBS
Turbine 180N-260N

Now for the best part, you can purchase this plane for only $4,195.00 plus shipping.

I already have a Pre Order list started but it is not to late to jump on for this Incredible Sport Jet. The production line will officially fire up on March 1 and deliveries will come shortly after. Contact me if you want to get on the order list.

Cheers,

Dirk

The reason they called it a T3. It is a 3 meter airplane.

Glad I waited for the larger T3; too many T1's this year.

Go huge or go home!

Any feedback from the build of the prototype? Build thread or pics? Changes being made for production models?

Hopefully more info will start flowing on the T-3 from Florida Jets.

Anyone hear what the dry weight came out on Franco's?

Airplane weighed 52lb dry and 67lb ready for flight less smoke fluid. The K310 pushed it well and flew for 7 minutes with 8 liters of fuel.

Thanks for the info!!
Quite a bit heavier than the Swordfish for otherwise what would appear to be similar sized jets. What is the reason for such a big difference in weight?

Both planes fly excellent with its respective power plant. The T3 even though same length is a model that is bigger in girth and hight of fuselage. T3 needs the K310 could possible fly well with k260 but have not tested that yet. The T3 build was very straight forward and not much change on the prototype.

Dry weight of Swordfish is reported to be 39 lbs versus 52 lbs for T-3.

I'm assuming both are built well, but T-3 a little larger and maybe there is a diference in construction materials, e.g. SM versus JL/BVM F-16s??

I'm considering them both (one or the other) which is my reason for wondering and posting.

Someone get some video

The T-3 looks far better than the Swordfish, and I am sure flies lighter like the T-One

Got to fly the T3 today what a great bird!! The K310 is way to much power for it though. Entire flight was half throttle.

It knife edges sweet! Its like the T1 just better! Loved it. Franco gave them good feed back and they are changing a fee small things like we did on the T1. Great bird!

Kris, what do you think would be the best turbine for the T-3 ... 210? 260?

Going to see if we can get Franco to try a k210 inside it. I think it might be a great motor for it.

After watching Ali flying the larger havoc on a K210 it really shows these big sport planes do not need to be over powered.
