Default Winamac Jets Over The heartland! 2017

Winamac Jets over the Heartland time is upon us again . June 19th-the-25th . I will be renting tents so if your interested in getting one please email me at [email protected] or pm me here. Let me know what size your looking for and I will give pricing at that time. There will be a limited amount of power for campers on a first come first serve basis. Also Kero is plentiful in the area so you won't have to haul it from home if you don't want to. I will post more info as time permits.

Has anyone stayed at the motel in Winamac. I think it's called Indian Head or something like that

How does it compare to the Lindon Motel in Wingham. There's where I stayed in Wingham last year. They even supplied fly swatters

I will be singing in to Fort Hood around this time, all my jets will be back here for KY jets but I can still come up and spectate. I want have much time to fly before deploying but it sure looks like a nice place to fly.

I'm coming up this year for the first time. Looking forward to it! So, what are the recommended hotels? I need to book mine for the trip! I don't want to have to swat anything!

I stayed Indian Head too last year.. got bed bug bites sadly, maybe your experience will be different since they were upgrading rooms.

This year I will be staying back at the Goose Mahal on site.

Winny is one of those places that sometimes about 7:30 am when you take a walk though the parking area, you see dead bodies in campers, trailers, tents, back of suburbans, in small trailers..etc.. and then it comes to life about the time Jim Hiller gets his 5th flight in about 8am.. rinse and repeat.. see you there.
