Default Spektrum powersafe rx

Hello all, I just recently purchased a 35% Extra 300 fully loaded and turn key ready to fly with spektrum powersafe rx, and 2500mah life batteries. As I fly a dx7, I was excited about the fact of no real set up needed. I now have learned that those receivers have been recalled because of issues that could cause a crash. Yet I can't find description of what is happening to cause the issue. I have been flying spektrum for close close to 8 years and have not had one issue. I am not looking to get into a debate about what radio system is better or worse. I am looking for information on what the problem is with these receivers, and what changes I may need to make. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

And if you have one, there's not something you can do to fix it. Send it in.

Ok guys, I was able to check my receiver in my Extra. I have an AR9100 DSM2 Powersafe rx. Looking at the attachment that Xpress attached, this is not on the list of recalled receivers. Is this correct? So I should be good to use it?

Thank you. With the money I spent for it I was really getting nervous to fly it. And I blew my load in one shot on the plane because it was turnkey, so I really don't have the extra money for a powerbox setup from duralite right now.
