Default Trumpeter sprues?

I have a project that has been sitting for a couple of years. It's a trumpeter t34/76 model 1943 with a taigen lower chassis that I had started on. Initially I had mounted the trumpeter roadwheels to the Taigen chassis and then packed it away where it collected dust for a couple of years. I pulled it out tonight and was going to resume working on it and found the "R" sprue is missing.

Does anyone know where I can get this sprue from?

You can usually get replacement sprues direct from the companies. I have in the past for 1/35 from DML with no problem, and Italeri, but they required me to send them part of the box to prove I had the kit and then went through the distributor, so it took a while which sucked because it was preordered MTB and the part missing form the box was a transom.

I would try Trumpeter, but I think I've heard in the past that they were hard to contact.

By the way, before the AAF museum started carrying them, Tamiya was the worst for this. I had to shell out $50 for the Tiger I cupola years ago. I think I got the entire M4 turret for $12 from the museum.

A LOOONG time ago you could contact http://www.stevenshobby.com/productlisting.aspx for parts, if they were a distributor for the brand. I know because I used to call them a few times.

But, since I'm 0 for 1 (didn't know the Tamiya Sherman idler was discontinued) don't take my word on it but call or email them for sure.

Thanks, I'll try to contact the vendor and Trumpeter but I have my doubts as I purchased this two years ago.

All the exterior details for the turret, gun mantle, cowling, hatches, etc.

I actually found my receipt so I sent an email to the vendor to see if they can help. I bought this thing back in October 2014. I hope they can help but I have my doubts.

I wouldn't have thought so, but it turns out that I used some of the parts on this kit for another build several years ago, and never used the parts tree you're looking for. I no longer have the instruction sheet, but the box is kit No. 00903. I'll send you a PM for your address, and if you'll pay the postage; it's yours. -Mike
