Default Simjet Denmark. Where are you?

I need to send a turbine to Simjet Denmark for repairs but can't get a hold of anyone. They don't answer the phone and their email links are disabled. What's the story?

Call Kerry Sterner at Simjet USA. He has been great everytime I send him an engine for service. Plus shipping is cheaper too. [8D]

And if you have a 700, you better keep it as a paper weight.
Because Simjet can`t service this turbin.
Ask me how I know.

Well,a long story.
Post a short version.

Summer 2005 I get a brand new 700.Because a delay in the project the first start up was in feb.06.The test running 2 times look ok.
But in the second flight a flame out, dead stick landing.
After try sorting out the problem, the turbin go to Sim Jet.Get it back Juni 06.Same problem, the turbine throw the flame out of the combusting chamber.
Send it back again Juli 2006.Well after many promis, and lot of excuse.
I get it back Februar 2007. And it was still not working..............
Ask Simjet if it was possible to visit the factory and try to working out the problem.
No they was to busy with the production line. And the next week the airfield was closing down and not allowed visitors to the factory that is located at a airfield. This because the was i big military operation taking place and will going on for 3 weeks. This is as know to mee not a military airfield.

Well this was back in April 2007.I put the turbin and all the accessories back in the box and send it back to Sim Jet this was the 3 time, and this time I was asking to get my money back.
well now we are in the middle of Juni, and no reply on my E-Mails only silenc from Sim Jet.

If this is the "service"you get after buying a turbine...................................
And the worst thing about this is not the non function turbine................no but the silenc from Sim Jet.

Regards.
Roy Jimmy Johannesen.
Sorry about the spelling,I was a school drop out.

Hello Roy Jimmy.

Tirstrup Airport used to be a military airport and it is still used for NATO exercises every once in a while.

Try and call Lars at +45 86364667 in the morning hours. He is always a reasonable guy to talk to.

Sorry for your trouble.

I have been a Simjet customer for 9 years and have always been treated well by Lars.

Hi Stig,

Hope all is well with you and family.

I'm getting ready to fly the new 1/4 scale Vampire w/ NEXUS. Should be a great combo.

Have you built any new projects lately ?

Brg.

Kerry

Hi Kerry.

Nice to hear from you. Hope all is weel with you and the family as well.

I built a EuroSport that flies quite well on a 2300, and now I'm working on a new SM ARF Plus Gripen that has to have a 1200 mounted in the tail. Hope top fly it at our JET Summercamp in Holstebro in a month.

I was lucky to buy a used (5 cycles) 2300. Now I finally have two identical engines for my Dean Lassek A-10, that I plan on starting after the summer.

Looking forward to meeting you again. (Jetpower, maybe???) You're a fun guy to be around ;-)

I'm off to a jetmeet now. Will be back sunday night.
