Default Rcv'r won't power up

Hello... I installed my Pwr Exp Sport in my plane, through the Turbo Regulator. Prior to doing so, I set the servo power to 6.2 vdc. I checked my receiver power, and my voltmeter read 4.99 vdc. All looked good, until I tried to power up the receiver. It would not power up. It is the receiver from my JR 9303 2.4 gig (I'm at work, and have forgot the JR designation for this 9 channel receiver)... Anyway, I tried all configurations, read, and re-read, your instructions, with no positive results. I then tried another receiver (Spektrum AR7000) and the same thing happened.. It would power up the receiver? I'm confused, because there is power at the receiver power leads (re-checked at 4.99 vds).... I hope you can help.

Thank you, John Adams, San Jose.

Default RE: Rcv'r won't power up

You have NOT plugged into the receiver battery ports, correct? You are positive the receiver is bound, have you tried putting a small servo directly into the receiver with at least one of the leads that supplies power to the receiver (the two end leads) plugged into a servo port?
