Default Optical Kill Switch

If running a 2 cell Li-Ion 2400 with the optical kill and a DA50, do I need to run a regulator in line between the battery and optical rec. unit?

Thanks, Pat

Hi Pat,
I believe that the DA ignition cannot handle direct lithium voltage so I would say, yes, you need a regulator.
