Bat Share system
I have a Giant Scale Pitts Challenger II Bi-plane and I am trying to put in two 2700 mah batteries, with two switch harnesses. I purchased the Bat Share system from Chief Aircraft but it came with no directions. It has the two inputs of which I will connect both the switch harnesses seperate, but on the other side there are two plugs for the rec. I was under the impression that I would only plug this into the batt. inlet on the Rec. Why are there two plugs and where are they to be plugged in, or do I just use one of them? This is confusing without directions...Thanks for your help.

Sorry you find this confusing. There are two outputs to match the two inputs. Each standard R/C connector can handle 3 amps of continuous current maximum. You have two inputs, one from each battery, for a total of 6 amps input. We provide two outputs to match this, giving you a capability of 6 amps continuous out. The two outputs should be plugged into the BAT port and any other open servo port. If you want to use one output only, then it will work but you will get a higher voltage drop across this single connector at high current loads than if you used both connectors resulting in lower voltage getting to your servos. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you so much...that is exactly what I needed information wise. I truly appreciate your help...it now looks like I am going to be flying a Giant Scale Pitts Challenger II this week..
One question though, with the Bat Share connected to two ports on rec...with two 2700 mah 6v batteries, will I be able to get three flights out of it before recharging?

Hi,
This really depends on your current draw due to the size of servos you have and how you fly. With both outputs of the BatShare connected to the receiver the servos will get a higher voltage and will use a bit more current producing more torque than at a lower voltage. I would think you can get 3 flights but I really cannot make that determination from here. Let me know if you have any other questions.
