I bought a power expander sport plus with ign. cut-off and a fail safe device. My question is how can I connect my TME smoke pump on it using the same battery power supply. I want to use only 2 batteries on my 27% extra 50cc. One for the ignition. And another to the radio system and the smoke pump. I will use a 6v 2500mAh NiMH battery for the radio, connected to the power expander and a NiCd 4.8v 1500mAh for the ignition.
Can you show me a diagram with the connection of all this devices???

Hi,
The PowerExpander Sport Plus was designed to work with 2 batteries. I strongly suggest you use both batteries on the PowerExpander Sport Plus or you will see more voltage droop to your servos and your servos will be slower and have less power. You have to use 3 batteries in this system. You can connect your smoke pump into an unused servo output on the PowerExpander Sport Plus.

Sorry dude, but I do not understand.
The TME smoke pump has to plugs. One male jacket to connected to the receiver, or in case to servo output at the power extender. and another female jacket to connect to a battery plug. How can I connect both plugs at the power extender???? (They are diferent).
And about the batteries, as you said I have to use 2 batteries connected at the power extender (like 2 1200 Mah NICD), and the third battery connected to the ignition.
In my case, where is gonna be the power supply for the smoke pump????

Hi,
Make a male-to-male adapter for the smoke pump power and plug it into an unused servo port on the PowerExpander. This will supply power to the smoke pump from the two system batteries.

Just one more question. What battery amperage do you recommend? Two packs of NiCD 6;0v, 1.200 mah are enough for a airmodel with 6 high torque standard servos (futaba 3010) and a TME smoke pump?

I would use a 1000mAH-1400mAH on the engine and two of the same size for the servos.
