good protection 6014FS

Greetings
I am putting together an Extreme Flight 88 inch Yak 54 with a 57 size gas engine. I am currently running Duralite's Lithium Ion 4 cell 7.4 volt 4300 Mah redundant batteries with a switched fail safe 7.5 Amp regulator @ 6 volts powering Hitec's 5955 servos. I want to switch to Futaba's 6014FS 2.4 Ghz receiver for 2048 res. Can I just simply run the power expander sport with the listed equipment and be safe from the 2.7-2.8 volt concerns connected to the 6014FS?

Many thanks

RE: good protection 6014FS

Hi,
Actually, all 2.4GHz receivers have a reset problem because of the nature of the technology, but in short yes. As long as the input voltage to the PowerExpander sport is above 4.0V you should have no problem. Running a SuperReg and your batteries you will not have an issue. Let me know if you have any other questions.
