expander signal amplification
 

Hi I have a futaba 6014 and havent had issues with it in a 35% untill this weekend. I purchased some new servos to go in it and programed them and they are 5625 and 5645 htch. servos well long story short they will work in channel one but wont work in channel 6 for the other aileron setup and i can use futaba servos and they will work. I have heard something of this so i grabed my expander out of my 40% and they worked on it. My guess is that the signal got amplified? I read on a forum that some systems before a certian date code wont work with 2.4, mine works but im just not wanting to pound in my plane because i didnt want to ask a question. the expander is revision D and its a power expander pro. copyright 2006-2007. By they way thanks for the pointers on setup at Nall.... it worked flawless.

Hi Chris,
I am not sure where you heards some PowerExpanders do not work with 2.4GHz but all our products are compatible with 2.4GHz system from the very beginning. We buffer and amplify the servo control signals coming out of the receiver. On your unit the servo control signals are boosted from 2.7V of the 6014 to 5.0V. Let me know if you have any more questions.
