I need a boat for a race
I have a race coming up and want to buy a boat! I have no idea what I need to look at or what to buy but would appreciate any recommendations. My brother just picked up a $500 revolt 30 for $229. So he got lucky. Thoughts on what to buy? I don't want to spend more than $250.

Are there any sort of regulations such as size, power type, etc, because that would greatly narrow down the list since there are hundreds boats on the market. Also what type of hull do you want? I might not give you the best of advice here because I'm also very green in this area but I know a trick or two. The boat that you posted here has a mono hull with a nice battery that would last you a while and the boat itself looks very good.
