Default Turnigy 36 56 06 motor

I'm assuming the 06 means that it is a 6 pole motor???? I've done a search & can't seem to find the answer. Has anyone used one of these motors & are they any good? They are cheap & I was thinking of giving one a go.

Cheers
Jason

They are 2 poles.

Must mean number of turns or winding designation.

I just received one of these and it looks excellent! Can't wait to try it.

Yep,

I was looking at the top link there. So it's a 2 pole, Do'h, not what I'm after I have one of those already, I want at least a 4 pole 1500 - 1800kV. I might just get one of the new SV motors from OSE. I think it is the wind for a brushless equivalent.

I didn't see the other one when I was browsing. Do they have a water jacket to suite it?

Cheers

A running buddy of mine has half a season with the 2300kv version in a SV, the thing rips! Temps are fine once he got it propped right. Uses a 90amp esc with it. 4s 5000mah or 5400 depending which batteries he uses.

Ray will a 1512 water jacket fit on that motor? If the motor specs provided by HK are correct this looks like the same size of a 1512

I make my own water jackets out of Aluminum.

Working on one for this now.

Don't know, I'm making my own... Would be close... If I had Dim's for a 1512, I could be more specific.

Hey Ryan, I bought one of those R2 Riggers but, it's so frikin tight and the tub could be much stronger than it is.

I'll try a UL-1 motor in it first, then try the Trackstar motor if it fits with the cooler.

I have to put 2S up front on top of the booms, Jeese, you think they could have put more thought into the distance between booms, 125mm, what a joke!! you can barely find cells to fit it unless you do as I plan... put the cells on top of the boom carriers.

True, I would not like that either. Tight setups are difficult to adjust.

Ray, that Trackstar motor would rip in a Miss Geico. Might even pick one up for my 26" Prince mono
