ORIGINAL: Uncle Vinnie

I'm running Octura X445

I had a H&M Drifter L , 34" Cat.

I ran a x640 prop. It worked really well, You should try that prop,

Harry

Don't just try one prop. Give several a try and pick your favourite. Make certain you watch heat

I just wanted to offer my $0.02.  While the setup of the boat looks very clean with everything tucked away nicely, make sure you keep any eye on your motor temps.  It may not be a problem as you should be getting really good flow, but, it is best practice to have the exit flow from the water jacket (on the motor) at the highest point so that any air bubbles will exit the system having water completely surround the motor.  With the inlet and outlet on the bottom like you have it, it would be easy for the air in about 50% of the space to just compress and stay there.

Looks great! Keep tuning!

That is a really good point "NobodyFamous" never even though of that.

Next time I go out I will read the motor temp on the bottom and top to see if there is a difference.

Quick update, recharged the batteries went out for a spin and now got 48mph top speed, however water was rough and could not go full throttle.
I have a good feeling that I will be hitting the 50mph with perfect condition water.

Motor and batteries under 100F
ESC was 107F

I'll update the video soon, also working on a Octura X642

I went 62.517 mph at Blue Lake SAW races with a x640 prop on my 34" cat.
