depends on kv of the motors the 500 should suffice  your shooting for around 30000 rpm unloaded im going to be trying out leopard 1550kv on 5s2p with a 200 a  esc  best prop i have found on the vegas's are the y535 but i think i will try a bit bigger say a 440 and see how it goes. google miss vegas deuce make it faster theres a ton of good advice.

the motor i have is a 1695 kv wich unloaded on 6s is 37629 rpms unloaded. droppin to 5 s is31357. think 5 s is way to go or 1 2s1p and one 3s 1p and figure out the balance the boat afterward!

You will be ok with 6s on that motor ,
i race with a 1680kv on 6s with 42mm 2 blade prop or a 40mm 3 blade ,
also you may get a better balance using 2x 3s packs one on each side

Sorry don't understand, they can be odd packs as long as capacity and C are the same, so that just leaves its okay to run different voltages? Thanks
