Default Water in my boat

Hey guys,

I just recently purchased a Motley Crew by Aquacraft. I took it for spin yesterday and had water in it and was curious why. I pulled the drive shaft out today and lubed that incase that was the issue. I am not sure where the water is coming in from? I have the top sealed in with tape.

I am looking for ideas or hints to where normal leakes come from.

It was a 2 minute run with 5oz of water in the hull of the boat. I wasn't on and off the throttle for whatever its worth.

anything would be helpful

To stop water that could be coming up the flex shaft ,take a piece of fuel line and slide it half on the stuffing tube and half on the flex shaft up by the collet. See if that helps, and maybe do a pressure test on the water cooling to check for leaks.
