Default Advice for lipo selection for my boat

Hello all,

I have bought a Libero thunderboat and it has a 3660 size brushless 2070KV motor, I have added a 150amp ESC and want advice on lipo selection, can I run a 4 or 5S 5000 lipo? I am not after insane speed just reliability and some good run time.

Is this motor any good? If not what would be better suited to 4 or 5S lipo's.

Cheers

You talking about the one from Hobbyking? I would use 3S or 4S. I wouldn't go 5S with that motor.
