Im dying to get my setup going only have about 200 and looking at another 3 to 400 before im ready to decide on my setup. To make it worse hk is sold out of the genesis hull only

So I want to see what everyones been up to get some videos up explaining your setup ie hull, motor, drivline, esc, batts and any other nick nacks you have. If you have cheap stuff i def want to see and let me know where you got it! Thanks, Nick.

Heres a friend and customers boat, the hulls one of my Apache 58" hulls. He built this on a tight budget, used twin t 600 880 kv outrunners 2 hobbyking 200 amp escs,6 s per motor, plastic 57 mm props counter rotating.Tried inward first was very unstable settled with outward rotation. After a slight misshap with one battery coming loose and damaging one motor he had a few problems untill he eventually replaced both with Himodel PRO series 910kv outrunners. She runs a consistant 50 mph,tad more actually.Great running setup check the videos, watch in HD.

Wow those are really nice runs looks like theyre both close to 60mph?! I havnt been boating for awhile and im not even going to speak of what happened to my genisis I only got 4 runs out of. Lets just say the trunk of a Kia is NOT the best place for a 200 dollar boat in rush hour traffic. Thankfully my lipos came out ok.

Here's a couple of mine on the go. All videos thanks to Dave at Joker Productions.

This one is made up of a few test runs of the Jet Chopper 30. Trying to get it settled.
Leopard 4074 2200kv on 4s spinning a PropShop 4214/3 with a Himodel GX 200A ESC.
[link]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yeXL26p2s&feature=plcp[/link]

This one has three boats on test runs.
The first is my 36" H & M no step 4, with a Nue 1527/1y on 6s spinning an X447/3 prop with a Himodel GX 200A ESC.
The yellow hydro is not mine, but a fellow club members. It runs a Proboat 1500kv motor & 45A ESC on 4s with an M645 prop. That runs in our Restricted class.
The third boat is my Whiplash 33" with a TP Power 4084 2180kv motor, with an ABC H-5 prop, a Turnigy 180 ESC, on 4s.

This one is My Sea Predator with the Proboat 1500kv motor & 45A ESC, with an M645 prop on 4s. This runs in our restricted class.
The music in this one is the band that my son plays in.

Some club racing at Lakeside Raceway.

Enjoy.
