Turnigy / Seaking 180Amp ESC hack
OK I can not longer resist..It's staring at me for so long now....I tried to ignore but....Curiosity is winning.... I know I shouldn't care....
I GIVE UP !
Anybody please stop my suffering,
What are the unused board connections for on the Turnigy / Seaking 180Amp ESC ?
One of them is a giveaway: 'sw' on the left, (already bridged from factory) >>external on/off switch.
How about the others?
And please don't come and tell me we should leave it alone. I know that.
I will update this post as hacks come available.. probably not

RE: Turnigy / Seaking 180Amp ESC hack
I have one of these that "just stopped" working. I noticed that the SW bridge is melted/open. I tried to just connect it with some jumper wires and all I got was big sparks. I may open it up and look for why it quit.
The caps look pretty toasted. The final blow to it was when the cooling jacket touched the motor can (a brushless fiago whose coils came loose)
It let out a big spark and quit working. I would love to fix it, but have my doubts.

Yes, I agree with you totally I see someone is doing some good progress on deciphering the code... keep the photos, and text coming along.
I'd love to be abel to repair one of these if they fail.

I'll second that, I didn't visit this page for a long time, but what the heck? posting such technically advanced photo's and no comments or explaination?
Just soldered some wires on to impress and confuse us
