For that age a pair of AquaCraft "ReefRacer-2",or HobbyZone "Zig-Zag-3" would be more adequate as they can be bought on different frequency and are self-righting. They come complete for around $65(Tx,Batt. and charger)and are very lively.

RE: INEXPENSIVE ECO HULL?
i thought about it and i kinda wanted to do something that was easily upgradeable and the reeef racer seems like it might not be upgradeable enough bbecause if the dont run them often i dont want them on my shelf. besides that if the stick with it(i know one will) i would be able to max the other out for myself. Has anyone modded one of these?
