Default Best rough water boat

Hey guys, I know there are a few other threads like this but I couldn't get my answer. I want a boat that will be good for the rough water in front of my house. The kyosho jetstream 888 ve looks really good with it self righting design but $500 for a boat? No way! It's about $100 to much. So does anyone have good ideas? I have a desperado jr but it flips ALOT!
thanks.
P.S I don't mind kits or rtr.

look for something with a deep V - and remember you get what you pay for.  The Traxxas Spartan may be really good in rough water, it has a deeper V then the Villain IV/EX did and mine runs great in the waves.

I just bought a Mini Rio for my son to play with, only $100.00 RTR, but out of the box it needed work to get on a plane.  You get what you pay for.

The Spartan had a ton of issues right out of the gate, but I bet Traxxas has addressed those.
