hobbyking apparition brushless twin hull
Hi all have been looking at getting a catamaran type hull. I would realy like to run atleast 4s possibly 5s lipo
Does anyone have any info on the apparition from hobbyking? ( the single motor version )
This looks to be quite a good stable hull, was wondering how this would compare to the proboat 29" catamaran
hulls such as the blackjack etc, is it more stable at high speed?
Also i cant find much info on the prop shaft size, can you use octura 3/16 props on the apparition? and apparantly
the stock motor is a 2627kv 36-60 so would a180amp esc be ok
any advise would be much appreciated
thanks adam

RE: hobbyking apparition brushless twin hull
Hi Adam,
The manufacturer standard configuration of Apparition is 3660 kv1620 motor, 125A ESC,φ4mm flex shaft. So, if you need to fit up to a 3/16“ Octura prop, you need to add a bushing. While if you run KV2627 motor and 180A ESC, I think 4s is totally enough, and the capacity should be more than 5000mah, 40C or so. If 35C cell, 120A esc is suitable. Just for your reference.
