New to the forum - want to convert old nitro
Iused to run nitro boats long ago. Anyway, I pulled my old Prather DV 1 meter with a .40 OPS down out of the attic and it still runs great. However, the new neighborhood we moved into really doesn't like the noise, even with a tuned pipe, so Iwant to convert to electric. Here are the specifics I'm looking for opinions on:
1) I won't be racing this boat so I don't neeed a hot electric motor
2) The kids will be joining me, so we are looking for more run time than speed
3) should I go LiPo?
4) prop size?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
