Never had one myself, only the 60A, 120A & 180A.
But I would imagine that they are just as reliable as the others, if you don't exceed its parameters. And they can be programmed with the same programming card as the others.
Why not go straight for the 120A it's only a few bucks more & is a great ESC with a bit more headroom.
What is the setup in the boat? Motor, batteries, boat type & size?

Looks like I will use the 120 instead.Right now I am twinning the below boat;
Setup; Genesis boat;2-3674 Leopard 2800kv,traxxas reciever box,1-FS-GT2B tx and rx.This one uses the lipo battery that can be charged.2-Octura,x447 cnc props.2- stingers;stock servo;2-5500mah 40c lipos. The stingers came from Germany, now I see that a couple of hobby shops in North America also have them. This is my first twin and can not wait for the ice to melt off the lakes.I live in the northern part of BC and our summers are short. So once it melts I will not be home much. The wife can not wait till the ice melts. Then I am not around to be a pest. She has threatened to get the raid out.

I gather the batteries are 3s? Because I feel the 447 props will be too big for 120A ESC's with 2800kv motors on 4s.

Launchpad.
Those props are fine for 3s. I was just making sure you weren't running 4s as you didn' state the number of cells in your previous post. I feel the props would be too big for 4s on those motors with a 2800kv rating.
You will definitely need the 120A esc's
If you haven't bought the props already, get the M447. A bit easier on the current draw & a bit more top end speed.
If you already have them, de tongueing them is an option.

Twisted is right. You will have some speed there once it is trimmed out properly.

All the best.
Paul.

I usually get my props from OSE, but they don't have a pair of the 'M' series props.

They do however, have both the X447 & the X447-R.

I'm sure you know that these props need sharpening & balancing before you use them.

But here are the CNC props that I like to use too. They are ready to go. I do however just give the leading edge a bit of sharpening with a fine file & sandpaper.
They don't have a 47mm only 45 or 48. As I've never tried the set up that you are using. I couldn't say which prop would work best. But I personally would start with the 45's.

I got a message from ose telling me that octura do not make the M series. In my research today I found 1-m447 in England and the other at FunRc.One is a right while the other is left. But I would rather not buy from overseas because of cost and also time. But I will get a few different props from ose and experiment. Thanks for all the suggestions. Best Regard
