Default Nube needs Help

I guess I will start off with an introduction. I am 15 years old and am mainly into high power rocketry. however a couple of years ago I started to become interested in RC boats. the only RC boat experience I have ever had is with the cheap RC boats from Wal-Mart.

I bought this stuff to build my first RC boat:

26" RC EP Deep-V IMPLUSE Epoxy Fiberglass Anti-Turnover Mono ARR Race Boat BP http://www.ebay.com/itm/151318424611...84.m1439.l2649

- MG995 Metal Gear High Torque Servo for HPI XL RC Boat Helicopter Car UP#14 http://www.ebay.com/itm/360992494203...84.m1439.l2649

- Turnigy AquaStar 3974-2200KV Water Cooled Brushless Motor http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...and_above.html

- Turnigy dlux 100A SBEC Brushless Speed Controller w/Data logging http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...arehouse_.html

- ZIPPY Flightmax 2650mAh 5S1P 40C http://hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store...arehouse_.html

okay so I have 2 question,

1. how do you connect the motor to the drive shaft? I have looked all over the web but cant seem to find it.

2. how fast do you think the boat will go on the setup I have now?

Thanks ahead

Edit: now that I read over it I realize this is probably in the wrong category for what im asking. mods feel free to move it to the correct place

Hi, I run Gas boats and do not know much with Electrics other than they can get crazy fast and crazy $$$$.
You may want to join and read as many rc boat forums as you can find , there are a few. most have an electrics or FE ( fast electrics) section.
JRCBD, MGB, RCCanada, International waters, and more. You are at the point going from "toy" boats from Walmart to real hobby set ups.
There is much to learn and TONS to read.
Do not be afraid to ask a question. there are lots of people that "know it all " most know lots and have years of experience.
consider this, is there a local club or a good hobby shop that can ask about a club near you? Try google searching for local model boats clubs.
Your 15 so the cost of this hobby is or can be pricey. take your time learn as you go. we have all been there no matter our age.

most of all have fun. hope this helps.
BTW rockets are cool.

Your motor has a 5mm shaft, so get a collet the same size and one that will connect to whatever size prop shaft you have.

Can probably find one here.
