proboat shockwave 26 brand new to the hobby
so, my wife got me a brand new pro boat shockwave 26 inch brushless boat for christmas and last weekend was the first time i got it out and ran it. this thing is actually pretty cool. i been into rc cars and trucks for about 15 years and i have somewhere around 20 rc trucks (nitro and brushless) so iam NO NEWBI to the hobby but to boats im not experienced at all. so my question is..this boat does move pretty decent but i really did expect a little more out of it.. i am running 2 cell 50c 5000MAH lipos in it. im thinking i should try a 3 cell. its rated for 2-3cell lipo. its water cooled i can it wide open for a while and when i brought it back to shore the motor and speed control was cold like it was never even ran! so it will handle 3s no issues but the ESC is only rated for 60amp esc. so its not gonna handle a 4 cell is it?also it seems like it takes a few seconds for the boat to plain out ontop of the water and get going. is there any adjustments i can do to the metal fins on the back to make it launch out of the water better? also is there a better prop upgrade avalible and if so which one to make this thing really fly!!?? also i read somewhere u have to pull the flex shaft out and lube it with white lithium marine grease every 3 runs. is that true? also what else should be done for maintance every so often? thanks guys for the info and suggestions. it has a liquid cooled dynamite 2000kv 4 pole motor and dyanmite 30amp esc
