Default shockwave 26 and castle 1415 2400kv

hello i have a proboat shockwave 26 bl and i just so happen to have a new castle 1415 laying around from my stampede 4x4. i was wondering what do i have to do to connect this motor to the flex shaft because the motor that came in it stock has a 5mm shaft this castle motor has 3.15mm.what kind of coupler do i need? does anyone know the discription or part number? thanks.also can i run this castle motor on a 3cell with factory 30amp speed control? the way it is now i run a 3 cell wide open for almost the whole pack and the motor and speed control is barly warm.on a 2s it dont feel like the motor was ran at all. and the castle motor is only 400kv more than factory both 4 pole.stock is a dynamite 2000kv 4 pole 5mm shaft castle is 2400kv 4 pole 3,15mm shaft but its also longer can motor

Now is this correct-3.17 motor shaft and flex ? Go to offshoreelectic boat site and look for the couplers. 2S is fine on 3S but 30 amp isn't going to cut. I'd go for 120 esc cause when you go full bore, the spikes in hole shot will be high. I'm trying to piece your info. The castle has more torque which is great. kv 2400 on 3S = 26640 rpm but know the efficiency rate and my guess is 82 which might be 24000 -3S = 26640 x 82 =21844 ? That being low would switch to 4S which . 2400 x 14.8 =35520 @ .82 = 29126 which is a sweet spot and would run Octura 535 prop and hang onto you behind. This is the reason for the 120 esc. Most motors won't show efficiency which doesn't help the boat. Now w2ith setup, I would beef up the floor with a layer fiberglass. Check with a guru as I have been rc boating for 25 years and I like for my boats for dependability and not break down. Sorry for my length but I really enjoy boating in retirement and not in repair shop of mine, LOL!

thank you for the responce. all though i have decided to buy a faster boat.lol my wife actually
loves my shockwave so i bought a 7600mah 3s 75c battery for it. (wow it was $100!) and she moves pretty good. plenty fast enough for my wife anyways. i been having my eye on the proboat miss geico 29 inch version 3 which has a 2000kv 6 pole motor 120amp esc and is 6s capible out of the box. so i ordered it. dosnt make much sense that the version 2 had a 1700kv motor 60amp esc and rated for 4s but has a speed rating of 50mph plus. the version 3 has a faster motor, larger esc, more battery power and there rating it at 45mph plus. most people on youtube is getting 47-53mph stock with 6s. one thing i really dont like about my shockwave is when you punch the throttle it seems like it takes a few seconds for the boat to plain up and for the motor to wrap out.which im sure its probly just the nature of the esc. the ecs on my short course truck is the same way. seems like the miss geico takes off full power almost intantly.any thoughts on this boat i ordered ould be apprechiated thanks

The miss geico will be fast, it should do 45 plus on 6s easy with the stock prop.

teah i had the miss geico 29 for 2 weeks now and i ran it about 5 times. i bought 2 7600mah 75c 3s lipos for it.first run it was riding wet because i had the prop strut in stock position and batteries all the way forward.lol but now i got the prop balanced and sharpened, prop strut at optimum highth and batteries all the way to the
rear and man does this thing haul the mail!! im guessing high 40s maybe 50mph.i just bought a new motor for it, i bought the 1750kv motor that comes in the impulse 31. its a 40x68mm prop 4 pole where the motor in mg26 v3 is 36x62mm 6 pole.a friend of mine has this same setup in his blackjack 26 v3 and with stock prop on 6s its faster than mine. its the perfect setup becuase it wont have all the heat issues that the 2000kv has.plus i can swing a 45mm prop if i wanted to lol.but im only going to run the x642
