what kind of speed controler should I use to have my 540 motor run as fastas it can go

Sounds like a stock motor, any speed control will work,,, using 6-7 cells, the maximum on this motor,,, look for one that has the least resistance, it's usually the most expensive also,,, except the Duratrax "Streak" is a very efficient, reasonable ESC,,, or use a servo to operate a microswitch for full on, or off.
