Here's my First Airboat project. The Graupner "Fluppi" E.P. airboat.
Tested to run on hard snow/ice and just last week on water.
Hey, how do you like the fluppi? Is it fast? I have always wanted one, but could never find one.

It's just OK..for an E.P. airboat. Top speed (depending on electric motor & cells) is between 16-18 MPH.
What I liked about this airboat is the unusual hull design. Not the typical flat bottom or the exotic hydro hull available out there.
You can find one of these usually sold at those Ebay auctions. I saw a number of these kits sold at ebay Germany a few months ago.

Here's a view of it's tri-hull.

Wow, that's too cool. There's one in the for sale section here for 66 bux, but I just bought a new boat last week. Didnt they come with a four blade prop though?

This airboat is as rare as it gets. The kit did not include the 6 X 4 , four bladed prop. It's puchased separately along with the prop adapter, electric motor, ESC, servo & receiver.
Used a 6 X 6 Graupner 2 blade "cam prop" instead.

Here is my late 12-cell cat, the fastest non-rigger electric boat in the US with a SAW record of 74.3 mph.

That Joker is sweet! I love a boat that is a little different from the crowd. I'll bet that thing looks awesome cruising around the pond! Did you build that yourself? I really like it.
