I just bought SV27 and my eyes are really tired of reading all the forums here and very informative. I saw that the last posting in the battery section was a year ago.

Do you have any recommendation what set of battery that is best for SV27? Lipo or NIMH?
What are the numbers? and cost$?

Appreciate your reply.

PS. Using stock motor, ESC and prop.

Thank you Dicko.

Were you able to see the difference between a NiMH and LiPo?
Do I need to buy anything aside from this or I just plug in with the deans plug?

i saw a HUGE difference when i switched to lipo. you can use the deans but i would suggest switching everything over to 5mm bullets for easier soldering and less resistance
