Default out board boat

ok so im am building a new project. well no quite
i need a large electic outboard, to puch a 3 lbs boat at speed, i was thinking a 700 or even 800
i just cant fine one that will suite it !
i want to run 12 -20 cells in this boat
Thanks
the boat is 29 inches long and has a 7 inch beam
and you can put like 20 lbs in that boat with out a problem

the hull is buy boatsnmotion.com, its a very god hull and its fiberglass,if you want a strong hull this one would be it

I want to know how this turns out. Have you tried www.offshoreelectrics.com ?

I'm sure they have what you want.

You might try Tower Hobbies. They sell and Aquacraft electric outboard.I think the model number is EP1.

I know you want an outboard, which is cool, but that's a perfect hull for a jet drive, if youve ever wanted one.

So I guess this doesnt help, but just an observation.

heck graupner makes a drive for glow engines. You can get them as big as you want. If I had that boat I'd get a german made swash-jet drive. Theyre pricey, but theyre the real deal, much better quality than graupner, and they coincidently usually put them in a boat just like yours

I want one so bad.

weird..... link works for me. unfortunately it's the only site I can find for that drive, thought there is a forum somewhere.

and actually I think theyre australian.

here's another one http://www.jet-drive.de/ (you have to click the british flag for english)

A z-drive would be cool though, I could see an outboard on that hull, but I dont know if it'll look natural. Just looks like it's begging for an inboard of some type.

here's some good links http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~atong/

When I looked at the pics, the first thing I thought of was an old Glastron. Sky blue and dark metallic blue. 350 Chevy/MerCruiser.... I wish I had a pic of my ole' Glastron on hard drive. Can you say "Live and Let Die"? Glastron supplied all the boats for the film. They had a 20' like that one. It had been painted solid black for the movie, though.

okay, I'm in for the z-drive.

I thought about the twin o/b's, but now I'm thinking that z-drive would look great, but what about twin z-drives. I dont know if it would look out of scale though. either way z-drive(s) would look cool. If I went with multiple o/b's I'd go with triple, but then the boat would be more of a novelty and less functional. It does look like a boat that should have a blown 454 with either a jet or i/o (z-drive). Basically a drag boat or a glastron

here's an example
[link=http://www.hotrodsonwater.com/MotorBreath.htm]drag boat[/link]

p.s. your sail boat is hot! I dont think sail boat and hot have come out of my mouth in a sentence b4

Let me see. It's an evening after work, 2 hotties, a couple bottles of wine on board a 35 McGregor at sunset on Lake Ponchatrian. That was just about as hot as I've ever been.....
