ya cause birds fly so fast you only see them in 2 frames!!!!, lol you think what you want. for all you know that could be a brushed 250 motor on 1 nimh cell sped up so he could say its lipo powered.(off course it wouldnt have a rooster tail but u get what im trying to say)

PS, if you can see that bird in only two frames then the boat would be skipping frames too cause id be willing to bet if thats actuall speed thats prolly close to fifty and since those birds "fly that fast" the boat would be skipping frames too. But wait, the boat isnt, what the FU(K? lol. watch the birds closly at 33-46 sec., then youll see what i mean. if you still disagree because you dont want to hurt you EGO and GIVE IN, then take this somewhere else.

I think those are bugs close to the lens.

Do you realize how hard it would be to speed something like that up and match the noise created by the motor with the video that has been sped up. That's nearly impossible for the average user or even advanced user. It's not sped up at all.

i must agree that it is possible that they are bugs. bty ryan, there is some really advance software that'll allow you to do that, your correct it isnt easy, but it is doable. now i dont understand why people waste there time do it but it is cheaper than buying a 700-1000$ micro drifter setup.

I have Adobe Premiere Pro, and I don't think I could ever do that. I'm no editing expert, I do know in some way it is possible.

alloutcustom it is not speed up i just dropped the date from my photo camera that films only only 12 frames per second. Youtube allso degrades quality.
Besides listen to my wife talking from begining, her reaction matches the start etc ..
Today I'll try to try new prop x632 :]

i mde apredator but just couldnt get it running right- even had a nitro in it!!
got to remake me one of these babies!! and i did start looking at the fiegao motors the same as yours-any changes you would make if you started again?
like size to get bigger lipos in??

Thanks. Why you couldnt make it go right? I managed to run quite fast at first try only two shaft broke [:@] lol.
Actually mine rigger is only 20" - 49cm long (not counting the rudder etc.). So it is wery difficult to fit something in there.
So a bit bigger rigger would be mutch better for that pont.
Allso I'm looking for a fiberglass or carbon riggers. Thei are mutch stronger and light allso. I think they're a step forward in hydro and aero dynamics.. wood stays wood but for today I'm really hapy with performance (have not really tested x632 prop yet).
Oh, and if you're looking for feigao 540S L or XL do not forrget esc about 80 -100 amp range, because mine - 60A -70A max ESC will be cooked one day lol

i think it was my prop choices- i only had 3/16 shafts and the smallest prop i had was a 40mm-didnt have electric at the time so went with a .10 nitro but not enough oomph! lol
stuck a .21! in it but just couldnt get it to run well- tuning and stuff
gonna redo it with lipo's that i have now and brushless
im a UH shopper when the stuffs in stock and theyre 120amp ESC looks good for the money!

Yes, it is all about the configuration choice. My first scratch built rigger was wery slow in comaprition.. but I used 21T brushed car motor, heavy low C rated accus and too big prop As I have noticed allready, weight is not a big problem if your power system (motor + bateries) has enormous power.. On my project rigger I did no triming at all..
Prop shaft is parallel to water on flight and CG a bit back from sponsors back.

well i still have the sponsens from the predator -i made the tub bigger in the first place to take the larger nitro engine
i'll just make a new tub and sort out a decent motor for it
need a second lipo to run parallel to get the amp limit up
do you have any more vids of yours running yet with any adjustments or prop changes to see if it makes any difference?
gonna sort out some small props to run with on the new one 30-31mm seems to be the ideal starting size for that fiegao motor
i would be more than happy for a rigger that runs like yours!
would a smaller size motor work at all ?? say a fiegao 380 or would it not have the power to shift the rigger??
obviously smaller motor wouldnt need as much punch from the lipo packs
do you think it would work?

I'll film some new swiming soon (2-3 days period) with octura x632 prop. Today I have no new videos Last time it went dark and nor I could go full throttle (it goes out of sight imediately) nor to film - too dark [sm=what_smile.gif] .
As x632 has 0.2" bigger pitch and diameter bigger in 1mm it will go faster, but I don't know If I will not cook my esc [sm=shades_smile.gif]
I have seen 380 xl or L motors run in similar rigger it flies too. Motor is lighter also you dont need so big lipos.

One more thing.
Does anyone know if Hextronic ESC 80A or 120A could operate on 2 lipo cells?
