Default Need Help: Aquajet

OK

I have the Essentials
700 Size Motor with Flex Coupler good enough to take the RPM
14.4V of power through a 60amp ESC

Now here is my boggle....

NOT RUNNING TOO GOOD!
I mean it was running like a Scale Ferry.. not a Speed Boat !

I gave it a nice pond test but it was not behaving like it should..

It was running like a Sub drive... no wake.. lots of underwater turbulence but no wake!

I Moved the Batteries as far forward as possible and it picked up a little..
I mean there wasnt enough water to push through the cooling coil...

The Prop I am using is an Octura x642 Balanced and Sharpened.

What can be done to help me fix this issue??

Hi
I know the boat can run .I have seen them and worked on one.
For starters, What exactly 700 motor do you have.
Are your cells all good? They don't have to be great but they shouldn't be junk either.
Your prop should be good. I have seen these boats run just fine on a CF K42 prop .Yours is better.
What flex coupler are you useing? I have seen them slip .

Drive is 100% fine.. no Slip from anything. its like the rear is too Heavy.. the only thing that seems adjustable is the Rudder..
I will try the stock prop and see what happens..

Motor is a 700 Size NEO X
When I put weight at the front of the boat, the Boat Generates thrust.. Even with a "Assisted Launch" the prop never seems to take over...

Running 12 Cells 3300mah (6600mah @14.4Volts)

Here's what you do... cut a big rectangular hole in the bottom of the boat, drill a big hole in the transom with a holesaw, and install a jet drive. connect that 700 motor to the drive, and tada! Now you have an Aquajet that will scoot!

lol
flex coupler grub screws were letting go at around 10000rpm. in the water so it was undectable till it came time to poor on the power. it was acting like a rev limiter..
So slip was not evident on the shaft..

Took the Boat for a Test drive

HOLY COW!!!!! She planes in 3 metres ! I am using the Stock plastic prop with the 700 Size motor and She Hammers !

My Smile was soon wiped off my Face, as I was bringing the Boat in... I was Disconnecting the Batts, she Glitched and snapped the flex coupler
