i already checked the bottom of the hull, its flat for about 3 or 4 inches from the back, plenty enough room to mount a jetdrive

I am in the eastern US and I ordered one from Cornwall models recently. It was reasonable and they shipped quickly. Received it in 5 days. The site says they are out of stock now so you will have to keep checking. Hope this helps.

hey I heard on the grapevine that Graupner is shutting down, apparently some Korean mob bought the company and now the graupner jet units will no longer be in production. Maybe they may start the production back up but I do not believe so.

This is for any Aussie guys running jet boats.

I have been busy organizing an RC boat event here in Temora, it will be on the same weekend as the V8 Jet Sprint boat meeting. The lake is only 60 meters from the Sprint boat circuit.
It's happening on the 25-26th of October on Lake Centenary. The Sprint boats race at night under lights and wee will be running both days during the day.
There are approx. 50 boats coming so far, it promises to be a huge boating weekend. There will be quite a few gas jet boats running plus lots of nitro's and electrics.
It's a meet and run day, no official racing however feel free to try your luck against each other.

If you are interested in attending, let me know. I can point you toward cheap accommodation etc.

Here is a pic of the lake showing the V8 Sprint boat track (bottom middle. The lake is huge compared to little circuit.

Cheers, Brett.

Hi Guy's,
Just thought I may add what I have been up to lately, I have been busy designing, and getting into manufacturing of my own 30mm jet unit+ hulls , please see this link:
http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...0mm-Jet-drives

Didn't think it was worth adding another thread at the moment, may start another one down the track.
Regards Mick

Hi Guy's,
After a long 6+ months of planning and manufacturing, my 30mm jet units are now available, they are $150 USD + postage, here is a video of my unit in a Kehrer jet boat hull, hull is too small but I am working on a larger hull at the moment.

I am curious as to how well a jet drive would work in a recovery boat. For towing in flipped or broken down r/c boats gas and fast electric? I have no experience with jet drives but if they would make a decent tow boat it seems like a great way to go?
