Default Cen Grey Thunder

Found this boat and its in my price range. I just wanted to know does this boat come RTR and can I do many upgrades to make it fast?

All help will be great!

Yes, it's pretty much RTR and yes, you can do upgrades to it. The first one that I'd is toss the stock prop and put a good one on there.

Hi WyldOne

Which GT were you thinking about? To go fast only the one with the 775 motor is worth considering. I have the boat and run it a lot.
With the boat well set up the 775 motor can power the boat easily to 26 + mph on 12 good cells. Better yet on 14 cells. Motor changes to better 700 motors will result in even more speed. Many things can be done to make it faster and more reliable. Not all cost a lot.

I have a gray thunder... I put in a Jeti 600 and a 700... Ran it on 14, 16 cells, thing FLIES.. wore out the metal collet though so so now it skips aout and slows down until I let the throttle out and it'll be fine for a second. I gotta replace it, it's a fun boat.
