Mini Cat Hydro Help
I just bought a used carbon fiber Mini Cat Racing Hydro. It has the upgraded 3800kv motor and 40A ESC. I am using the 32mm prop and a TP 2070mah 3S lipo.
I need help with the setup. The boat cavitates alot and does not like to turn. I have placed the battery according to the instructions with the CG around the motor mount and have tried adjusting the batteries forward and backward from there but I can't seem to dial it in.
Can anyone give me some tips?

what that sounds like to me, is that the prop isn't getting enough water. (i.e. it sits too high up) If the outdrive is adjustable, then instead of trying to add weight or buying a new prop, you could just lower it.

hi are you turning slow? i have a mini cat and if i go slow it caves alot.if i keep it going fast it works perfect..i love my mini cat and im looking to buy another one if anyone has one? i keep my battery on the left side but more in front of the motor, that way when going really fast it stays on the water and dont flip,,to far back with the 3800kv and you will flip alot.. im putting a video of mine on youtube..
