i did not have this problem with the stock radio
i have just switches radio's to one that has EPA
is this the problem with it cutting a full thro.
is the EPA adj. too far?????
and with this new radio i get more steering and now it hook's real bad
but i can adj. that out
its the full throl. cut out i cant deal with..
HELP!!!!!!!

How many cells are you using? cuz I've used 14 cells with 4500s and I have the same problem. One idea I currently have is to try a bigger prop, maybe 42 mm. Some folks have tried it and the esc had stopped cutting off the power. I've tried an x440 but that only increased the speed a bit and didn't fix the cut off stuff.

I would leave the turn fins on cuz this isn't a very wide cat.

These are my ideas(I recommend checking the temps after 30 seconds of running each idea):
•try a 42mm prop
•try a different esc(at least 45 amps cont.)
•try 14 cells

I'm about to try out a graupner 42mm K series(1.4 pitch) with the same radio system you mentioned. I'll see what happens.

If your cells are cheap cells the esc cuts out, lipos solves the problem

Can you switch back to the old radio system and see if it still does it? That would eliminate the radio as the problem.

If it is the radio, head over to the radio threads. They could help you solve the problem better.
