$1000, what would you do?
I have 1k from elling all of my Remote control stuff, i really want to build a raceable boat. Right now i am undecided whether to use an H&M no step or a DF hull. I am also undecided whether to build a 2S boat or a 4s boat. I would like to use a Neu motor and Hydra ESC for sure, i want this boat to be pretty reliable. I am thinking speedmaster hardware if i go 4s lipo, and solinger if i go 2s.
I plan on buying elite lipos unless soeone suggest otherwise. Any suggestions? I am leaning towards an N2 mono.

Ok guys, this is what i was thinking, you tell me if it will/wont work.
NEU 1512 1D 4875KV
2 2c 30C Elite 4500mah packs in parallel
Speedmaster Hardware .150 Cable
CC hydra 240
DF 26" hull
That should make a pretty mean N2 mono huh?

well that boat wont be as good as the 29 inch DF.
buy a 29 inch DF to use a N2 mono. get a 1515 Neu on a hydra 240 ruing 2s2p. speed master ONLY. so linger is good for your micro or small toy boats really.
a 4s E2( p-mono) will run you up around 1700 bucks, if you go the top quality route
so a N2 mono is really the only good choice when you want top quality stuff

futaba.
chop 2 inches off the bow of the boat.
the 29 has a deeper hull and wider to handle the power much better and rougher water.

haha, i think ill just go with the 26", Will the motor i picked out work fine? I thought it shoud, spins 30000 rpms, if the motor has 85% effeiciancy so i think it is right where i want it, the other motor would only spin 25000rpms at 7.4V.

RE: $1000, what would you do?
If I had a $1000 I would replace all the items that got stolen from my car this past weekend!! [:@]
If I had $1000 for R/C I would spend it on the 29" DF as Taylor mentioned, 1515 1D/s, 2-2s 30C FlightPower 4500mAH, Hydra 240, 2.4Ghz Futaba 3PM, X640 to start, ect. That is pobably over budget already.
The larger hull definitely makes a huge difference in race conditions. N2 mono's struggle when there is wind blowing over the race course, going with a larger hull will greatly increase stability in these conditions.
The setup will be stable and run in the high 40's.

Hi
with all my respect to You in Your opinion:
2.4 is the best. This is even not a future; this is NOW.
Use 2.4 Ghz. Simply, computerised, digital.
The best choice for boaters.
Regars.
